Make Oracle EBS Fast and Agile to Align with Speed and Flexibility of Cloud

Panaya CloudQuality™ Suite for Oracle EBS Releases helps organizations to accelerate their on- premise EBS releases and enables change faster and safer.

Cross platform business process testing for business users
Panaya Test Center is an end-to-end testing solution for business processes which is designed to help organizations manage and accelerate business application testing across multiple platforms.

Panaya Test Center is designed for business users and business process testing which is the most common approach when shifting to the cloud and SaaS.

Make On-Premise Oracle EBS Cloud Ready
If you are considering cloud migration sometime in the future or if you are getting ready to migrate a portion of your EBS to ERP in the cloud, there are some necessary steps to take to achieve cloud readiness:
· Get an EBS landscape assessment and mapping of customizations and usage
· Prepare a map and documentation of business processes
· Upgrade to latest Oracle version
· Go back to standard
· Patch on schedule.

Flying to the Cloud

Oracle EBS customers have a lot on their plates right now and as their plates shrink more is being added. Some are still on version 11, others 12.1 and others on 12.2 with a plethora of patches and updates to keep up with. On top of all of this there is immense pressure from everyone at Oracle to move “everything” to the cloud. Obviously this is not as simple as Oracle makes it sound.

The reality is most companies need a hybrid strategy as EVERYTHING cannot possibly make it to the cloud. The on-prem EBS is not going away and this is even being messaged by Larry Ellison. Customers have EBS business transactions for PO, AP, projects, fixed assets, INV, OM, etc. and these modules/processes will not be supported on the cloud for a very long time. Companies continue to need change management solutions for that footprint, however, the pressure to “keep up” is at an all-time high and escalating!

Where does Panaya fit?
For all changes Panaya can provide the necessary insight and visibility to what objects will break, why, and what specifically you need to do to your code to make necessary remediations. Also, we provide a unit test plan that ensures all developers are testing all objects impacted by these corrections.

Also, for all test scenarios conducted by the business and key users Panaya makes the management of each tester very easy (removing the necessity and complexity of Excel) and provides the needed evidence to show that each business process was tested as required.

This is just a brief example of what Panaya does. The amount of value we provide is immense as we shorten project timelines by more than 50% and testing functions (unit, regression, UFT, etc.) by more than 30%.

How do I Decide what Cloud Works for Me?

Cloud means a lot of different things to many difference people. Do you know the difference between SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, DBaaS, or Hosting?

How do you determine what options are available to you and if these options are right for your company? How do you go down this path?
Join me as I share with you our journey of moving to the Cloud, where we jumped in, where we walked more slowly, and where we walked away.

We will be coving E-Business Suite, Hyperion, Data Relationship Manager, PeopleSoft (Human Capital Management) and some non-oracle products like Markview.

Leveraging the power of Oracle SLM and Oracle iSP to streamline Procurement

In this session, we will focus on how to realize savings through Self-Service Supplier Enablement in Oracle. Learn how to improve Supplier Performance Management, Reduce Supplier Management Costs, Simplify Supplier Selection and Reduce Risk, Enhance Supplier Compliance Management and streamline Procurement processes across the entire Supplier Trading Lifecycle, using the functionalities available in Oracle Supplier Lifecycle Management (SLM) and iSupplier Portal (iSP).

We will talk about a couple of business cases, the challenges we faced with the implementation of SLM for supplier on-boarding, Supplier Registration Approvals, Supplier Qualification Management, Supplier Performance Evaluation, Supplier Profile Management and the solution that we adopted to handle these challenges.

Additionally, we will discuss the benefits the SLM / iSP applications can bring to the overall Finance operations within an organization (specifically around efficiencies and compliance in the Invoice to Pay process).
